You are what we call a powerful recycler!

You are absolutely correct! Every SARCAN depot in the province has a Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! drop off box. No lines, just drop them off in the box!

Just remember, when the batteries in your house lose their charge, they might still have a tiny bit left over that can cause sparks if the terminals come into contact with other metal. Be sure to place some clear tape on the terminal and place them in a clear plastic bag before dropping off.

Well, you had a 50% chance of getting it right.

No, you should never bury batteries in your yard. They have toxic chemicals in them that are very harmful for the environment - which is why they don't belong in the trash either! Recycling them reclaims the rare metals and valuable materials they contain and use them to make new products like silverware, golf clubs, and even sunscreen!

And it is easier than you think! Collect them, protect them by taping the terminals, and drop them off!

Oh. Uh...we didn't think anyone would choose this option.

But, since you're here: Nope! You don't have to do that, and you don't have to toss them either! Instead, transform them by bringing them to SARCAN! We accept all sorts of end-of-useful-life electronics like cameras, stereos, A/V equipment, phones, photocopiers, microwaves, and more!

We partner with EPRA to ensure that all the resources that they are made of - like precious metals, plastics, and more - all get transformed into new products!

We knew you were smart, but you're blowing us away!

100% correct - SARCAN accepts a long list of end-of-useful-life electronics on behalf of EPRA. SARCAN collects them and EPRA ensures that all of the precious metals, plastics, and other resources are transformed into new products!

We can't wait to see you - and all your old broken electronics - on your next visit!

WOO! You are a recycling PRO!

You are absolutely correct. SARCAN will take all of those and so much more! Bringing your empty paint cans and leftover paint is a wonderful way to keep a clutter-free place and your projects low-waste! And, after you bring it to us, it can be put to good use or transformed into new products!

Bonus points: the paint we receive that is still in good condition gets put on the PaintShare shelf and you can take it for FREE!

Oh, you were so close! The answer is all of those things and more!

Can paint, spray paint, Interior, exterior, latex, acrylic, oil-based alkyd & enamels, concrete paint, floor paint, swimming pool paint, non-tar water repellent, sealers - whether they are empty or still have a bit left in them - SARCAN WILL TAKE IT!

Bonus points: the paint we receive that is still in good condition gets put on the PaintShare shelf and you can take it for FREE!

You almost had it. The answer is 'TRUE - SARCAN will take them!'

In Saskatchewan, you pay a deposit on all ready-to-serve beverages, including cannabis drinks, kefir, liquid coffee creamers, and more. When you bring the empty containers to SARCAN, we give you that deposit back!

Here's a helpful hint to win "Will SARCAN Take It?" every time: When you purchase a beverage, check the receipt to see if you paid a deposit. If you did - SARCAN will take it!

    You crushed it!

It's true - SARCAN will take all of those containers & pay a deposit refund on all of them!

Brown refillable beer bottles are worth $0.05, the others are worth $0.10 if they are under a litre, and $0.25 when they are 1L and over!
